In His Name, the Most High
The honoured imamzadehs (children of the imams) are enlightened figures who shine on the peak of our Islamic country and are a manifestation of the light of wilayah (guardianship). Therefore, honouring these pure and luminous essences can be effective in the path of human development and happiness.
One of these beloved imamzadehs who is found in Qom and has increased the luminosity of this holy city is Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah.
This dear lady had a lofty and eminent personality such that some of the Pure Imams remember this lady with glory and reverence and even before her birth, but before the birth of her father, some of the elders referred to her in their speeches and some of the Imams, such as Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq, spoke of her high position.
Today, the birth anniversary of the daughter of Imam Musa ibn Ja’far al-Kadhim has been named “Girl’s Day.”
I offer my congratulations and salutations on the luminous birth anniversary of the Karimah Ahl al-Bayt [The Benevolent Lady of the Ahl al-Bayt], Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah, and the beginning of the Ten Days of Dignity and Girl’s Day to all the Shi’ahs and the sincere followers of the Pure Imams, especially to the most valued sisters, residents, neighbours and pilgrims.
Certainly, the girls of today, who are mothers of tomorrow, play a very important and critical role in determining the cultural and intellectual destiny of society, which is based on the myth of knowledge and chastity of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah and by imitating her in the sublime spiritual, moral and scientific arenas, future generations are taking steps.
This lady and this young girl, who was educated in the bosom of the Infallible Family of the Prophet Muhammad, caused this city to achieve a lofty status in this dark period of the tyrannical rule and became a base for the transfer of the light of knowledge and science of the Ahl al-Bayt throughout the Islamic world from the East to the West by passing through various cities and sowing the seeds of love, knowledge and guardianship along the route and arriving in the holy city of Qom.
The Ten Days of Dignity, which with the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah and ends with the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha, is a great opportunity to promote the lifestyle and culture of the Ahl al-Bayt and model the character of these magnates.
