Rasa – Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri stated that despite all the problems and pressures facing Iran, the nation has emerged from this great test and added, “The authorities must seriously and urgently solve the problems of the people and obtain their consent.”
RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Quds Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri referred to the importance of the development of knowledge and scholarship in society and said, “The power of knowledge in the Islamic system of government can lead to its survival and stability and if a country does not encounter the growth of knowledge, it loses its authority and is in trouble.”
The member of the Supreme Council of the Seminary introduced the investigation and the organisation of the situation facing the people of Iran, especially in the economic arena, as an example and added, “On the contrary, if the situation of the society is abandoned, a wrongdoing has occurred. By taking the attacks by the enemies into consideration, in recent years, the decisive and intelligent Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei] has warned about the economic warfare by the enemies and emphasized the implementation of a Resistance Economy to thwart the enemies’ plots.”
He considered the some of the pressures and economic problems as stemming from external factors and conspiracies by the enemies and added, “Another part of the internal economic problems must be solved through proper management and actions in a timely manner.”
In the second sermon, Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri noted the events of the week, such as the death anniversary of Hadhrat Abdul-Azim al-Hasani, commemorated the 7th of Tir Bombing [which occurred on June 28, 1981] and the martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Beheshti and Judiciary Week.
The member of the board of directors of the Assembly of Experts referred to the anniversary of the American-led attack on the Iran Air Flight 655, which was shot down by an surface-to-air missile fired from USS Vincennes on 3 July 3, 1988, and described the record of the United States in the field of human rights as “black” and added, “Despite the heavy and black record of the United States, they claim to be advocates of human rights and invite Iran to comply with human rights.”
He said that everywhere in the world where a crime occurs, the trace of the Americans is seen, including in the United States’ support for Saddam in his war on Iran and its support for the hypocritical MKO, who have martyred many people such as Ayatollah Beheshti, and the immigrant children who have been separated from their mothers and placed in cages in the United States.
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri honoured and remembered Ayatollah Beheshti stated, “The enemies assumed that by martyring greats like Ayatollah Beheshti, the Islamic Revolution would encounter problems but his martyrdom created a new movement in the Revolution and demonstrated that the greater the pressure of the enemies, the more the Iranian people will resist and stand up.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom stated that based on the commands of the Supreme Leader, the judiciary must decisively deal with the corruptors and added, “The changes in the judiciary and leadership in regard to the rights of the people are important issues and duties of the judiciary.”
His Eminence explained that supervision by the judiciary over the situation of the market and the creation of security for businesses is expected by the people and stated, “The judiciary must act decisively and timely because the value of work will reduce over time.”
He added, “People must not be allowed to suffer in these troubles. Officials must quickly address the situation of the market, currency, coin and liquidity of the country and decisively decide to solve the problems.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri argued that one of the enemies’ plans is to turn the points of power in the country into points of weakness, saying, “Just as the Supreme Leader said, the enemies want to propose missile deterrence as a weakness and a challenge, while Iranian missiles are for deterrence.”
He said that, despite all the problems and pressures facing Iran, this nation is emerging from this great test and noted, “The authorities must seriously and urgently solve the problems of the people and obtain their consent.”
In conclusion Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri referred to the situation in the Middle East and said, “The Yemeni people are facing the toughest of conditions while resisting and persistently standing against the enemies and with this resistance, they proclaim the message of resistance to everyone.”
