“There’s no difference between Biden and Trump. They are the same guy. And they are following the same policy. There’s no difference between them. Trump ordered the killing of my father, but Biden supported that, so there’s no difference,” Zeinab Soleimani told Russia Today in an interview that is to be aired on Wednesday. “They have the same thought. And they are following the same way. And they are the same person,” she added.
General Soleimani was the former commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC). He used to be known as the region’s most effective and admired counterterrorism official.
He owed the reputation to his decisive commandership of Iran’s military advisory support for Iraq and Syria that enabled the Arab countries to defeat the Takfiri terrorist group of Daesh in late 2017. The martyr was, by the same token, also known as Daesh’s “nemesis.”
The US strike came on January 3, when General Soleimani was on an official visit to the Iraqi capital Baghdad. Hitting his convoy, the barbaric assault also led to the martyrdom of many others, including Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) or Hashd al-Sha’abi anti-terror force.
Speaking to Afshin Rattansi, who was broadcasting RT’s Going Underground, Zeinab explained the reason she could not differentiate between US President Donald Trump, on whose direct orders the assassination took place, and President-elect Biden, who defeated Trump in this year’s presidential polls and would take over from him on January 20.
“Biden agreed with Obama, when they made ISIS (Daesh),” she said, referring to Washington’s role in breeding the terror group that took on the world in 2014, choosing Iraq and Syria as its main sphere of activity.
“[Then] what’s the difference between Trump and Biden? What will change [under Biden]? They are the same people with the same mind. There is no difference for us. I mean, Joe Biden cannot return my father. Can they?” Zeinab asked.
“The problem we have with America is with their policy. This will not change…and each one of them is worse than the other one,” she added, Press TV reported.
Zeinab, meanwhile, hailed that General Soleimani “did his job so well, and made them so angry” and became “a monster” for Washington by laying waste to America’s whatever plot in the Middle East, including those aimed at hurting Iran.
She also reminded that the martyr would engage in the tireless anti-terror struggle “till his last breath” not just for the good of his own people or any other nation in the Middle East, but for all humanity.
“My father is a savior. He saved people. Not just [those of] his own country. He did this for all countries. He did this for [all] people. Not just Middle East. He destroyed ISIS. Because he didn’t want people [who are] innocent in Europe get killed by such a dangerous virus,” Zeinab asserted.
General Soleimani stepped onto this path perfectly aware of the dangers that lay ahead “because he wasn’t afraid of them. They were afraid of him,” his daughter also noted.
