In a majestic, million-strong spectacle, throngs of mourners and procession participants gathered from the early hours of the morning in the holy city of Qom to take part in the funeral procession for the pure body of the Martyr Leader. Streets and squares were packed with crowds arriving from all across the country in one of the largest funeral processions the city has ever witnessed.

The funeral cortege set off from the Jamkaran Mosque, traversing the “Rasul al-A’zam (PBUH)” road—a path spanning approximately seven kilometers—leading to the shrine of Lady Fatima Masumeh (PBUH). This route has been filled since the early hours of the morning today with millions of mourners who arrived from all parts of the country to the holy city of Qom to bid farewell to the Martyr Leader and his martyred family members.

Huge crowds are accompanying the body of the Martyr Leader along the route toward the shrine of the “Karimat Ahl al-Bayt” (The Generous Lady of the Prophet’s Household), amidst an atmosphere of grief and sorrow. Mourners are chanting passionate religious slogans that reflect the depth of their loyalty.

The hands of the mourners are adorned with pictures of the Martyr Leader and pictures of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei. Funeral banners and red flags have also been raised throughout the procession route.

The funeral proceedings continue in a solemn scene, with massive crowds from all walks of life—side by side with political and religious figures and mourning delegations—continuing their march in this sorrowful procession toward the shrine of Lady Masumeh (PBUH).

**Qom Embraces Its Martyr Leader**
Funeral prayers were held for the pure body of the Martyr Imam (may God be pleased with him) and his martyred family members at the Jamkaran Mosque in the holy city of Qom (south of the capital, Tehran), led by the religious authority (Marja’) Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi-Amoli, amidst the presence of millions of worshippers.
