[The Reward of the Intelligent Person]
My father (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ahmad ibn Idris narrated to me from Muhammad ibn Ahmad, from Muhammad ibn Hassan, from Abu Muhammad al‑Razi, from al‑Husayn ibn Yazid, from Ibrahim ibn Bakr ibn Sammal, from al‑Fadl ibn ‘Uthman, who said:
I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (peace be upon him) say:
Whoever is intelligent (‘āqil) will have his end sealed with Paradise, if Allah wills.
With the same chain of narration, from Sayf ibn ‘Umayrah, from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar, who said:
Abu ‘Abdillah (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever is intelligent has religion, and whoever has religion will enter Paradise.
