Major Art Exhibition Opens in Dar es Salaam with Message of Humanity and Unity

The Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tanzania, in collaboration with the Creative Arts Department of the University of Dar es Salaam, is set to host a special exhibition bringing together students, artists, designers, and art enthusiasts from across the country for an event centered on humanity, solidarity, and cultural understanding.

Hawzah News Agency– According to reports, the exhibition, themed “From Diverse Perspectives Toward Humanity,” will open on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Iranian Cultural Center in Tanzania. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore outstanding creative works reflecting social values and the power of art to forge connections among people.

Organizers have stated that the exhibition aims to demonstrate how art can serve as a vital bridge for strengthening social bonds, expanding cultural education, and promoting human values through the diverse perspectives of artists and designers.

Guests and participants will be able to view a wide range of artworks created by students, as well as take part in a special tour of the “Shirazis” exhibition, described as one of the day’s most compelling attractions.

Additionally, a specialized workshop on animation film production will be held, introducing participants to modern methods of creativity in art and digital communication—a program expected to draw many talented and creative youth.

The event will also feature a ceremony honoring the students of the Minab martyrs and a special panel on the place of humanity in African music, an initiative aimed at showcasing the role of art and music in building a society based on ethics, compassion, and solidarity.

According to organizers, the event will commence at 1:00 PM and is open to the public free of charge. Citizens have been invited to attend in large numbers and take part in an event carrying a powerful message of peace, unity, and cultural understanding through the language of art.
