Public trust is the most valuable asset for Astan Quds Razavi, says chief custodian Hoj. Ahmad Marvi while underscoring the need for transparency in publicizing the organization’s measures, performance and financial matters.
Hawzah News Agency – (Mashhad – Iran) – Public trust is the most valuable asset for Astan Quds Razavi, says chief custodian Hoj. Ahmad Marvi while underscoring the need for transparency in publicizing the organization’s measures, performance and financial matters.
Speaking to a number of AQR deputies and directors, Hoj. Marvi called for speeding up the activation of AQR transparency system at the shortest possible time, saying “All the assets of Astan Quds Razavi are from the people and for the people; therefore, people should be transparently kept abreast of the measures, achievements and performance of this organization.”
According to him the transparency system is being created to boost public trust and social assets of Astan Quds Razavi. “A transparent approach will indirectly provide responses to public questions on and ambiguities on AQR performance.”
Marvi is of the opinion that a transparent system would be an appropriate response to those trying to tarnish the image of religious institutions and also those assaulting spiritual and cultural values of the nation.
Addressing the deputies and directors, AQR chief custodian asked for full honesty and sensitivity in managing the transparency system, saying it should be free of any ambiguity whatsoever.
Astan Quds Razavi, as Marvi stated, is not an economic enterprise. “It is a large public service enterprise. It is a non-governmental and service-oriented organization; thus the transparency system should include required information on all cultural, scientific, service and economic activities of Astan Quds Razavi.”
“Since Astan Quds Razavi [the body in charge of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine] belongs to people, reflecting minimum achievements and developments in this establishment will be attractive to them,” Marvi further noted.
