**Your Words Are Light**

**[The Reward of Acknowledging Allah’s Lordship, Muhammad’s Prophethood, and ‘Ali’s Imamate, and Fulfilling What Has Been Made Obligatory]**

Muhammad ibn Musa ibn al‑Mutawakkil narrated to me. He said: Muhammad ibn Ja‘far al‑Asadi narrated to me. He said: Musa ibn ‘Imran narrated to me, from al‑Hasan ibn Yazid, from Muhammad ibn Sinan, from al‑Mufaddal ibn ‘Umar, who said:

Abu ‘Abdillah (peace be upon him) said:
Indeed, Allah—Blessed and Exalted—has guaranteed the believer a guarantee.

I said: What is it?

He said: He has guaranteed that if the believer acknowledges Him as Lord, acknowledges Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) as Prophet, acknowledges ‘Ali (peace be upon him) as Imam, and fulfills what Allah has made obligatory upon him, then He will settle him in His proximity and will not veil Himself from him.

I said: By Allah, this is an honor unlike any other honor—this is the honor of human beings.

Then Abu ‘Abdillah (peace be upon him) said:
Do little work and enjoy great blessing.

 

[ ثواب من أقر لله بالربوبية ولمحمد بالنبوة ولعلي بالامامة ] وأدى ما افترض عليه حدثني محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل قال حدثني محمد بن جعفر الاسدي قال حدثني موسى بن عمران عن الحسن بن يزيد عن محمد بن سنان عن المفضل بن عمر قال: قال أبو عبد الله عليه السلام ان الله تبارك وتعالى ضمن للمؤمن ضمانا قال قلت وما هو ؟ قال ضمن له إن هو أقر له بالربوبية ولمحمد صلى الله عليه وآله بالنبوة ولعلي عليه السلام بالامامة وأدى ما افترض الله عليه أن يسكنه في جواره ولم يحتجب عنه، قال قلت: فهذه والله الكرامة التي لا يشبهها كرامة وهي كرامة الآدميين قال ثم قال أبو عبد الله عليه السلام: إعملوا قليلا تنعموا كثيرا.
