### Gaza: Two Martyrs in “Israeli” Raid and Building Demolitions Behind the Yellow Line

On the 259th day of the ceasefire agreement, the “Israeli” occupation army continues to violate the agreement across various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Sources in Gaza Strip hospitals announced that two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in “Israeli” raids on the Strip over the past 24 hours. Two Palestinians were killed and others wounded in a strike on a tent housing displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis city, in the southern part of the Strip.
Additionally, “Israeli” military vehicles infiltrated the Al-Mawasi area, west of Rafah, and conducted leveling operations in the vicinity of the ‘Dahab’ chalet. The “Israeli” army detained a number of citizens, keeping one of them in custody.
The “Israeli” army also carried out a demolition operation east of Gaza City, while an “Israeli” drone exploded on a transmission pole atop a house in the east of the city.
A Palestinian was wounded by “Israeli” army fire in the Halawa camp in Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, “Israeli” artillery renewed its shelling of the eastern areas of Khan Yunis, accompanied by gunfire.
Since the ceasefire, the total number of martyrs has reached 1,031, in addition to 3,294 injured, while ambulance and civil defense crews have managed to recover the bodies of 785 martyrs from under the rubble of homes, according to the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry stated that the number of martyrs since the beginning of the “Israeli” aggression on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,041, while the number of injured has reached 173,402.

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem emphasized that the occupation continues its systematic war against the children of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, continuing to deliberately target and kill them. He pointed to the martyrdom of the child Ahmed Al-Raqab this afternoon in Khan Yunis city, resulting from a strike carried out by a Zionist drone.
In a statement today, Wednesday (June 24, 2026), Qassem noted that the martyrdom of the child Al-Raqab came one day after a report issued by the United Nations condemned the occupation for committing genocide against the children of Gaza. This confirms the occupation government’s continued flagrant defiance of international law and its disregard for all international resolutions and reports.
The Hamas spokesperson stressed that the death of more than 20,000 Palestinian children since the start of the war on the Gaza Strip proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the targeting and killing of children is taking place in an intentional and systematic manner, as part of a policy aimed at annihilating the components of the Palestinian people.
Qassem noted that these ongoing crimes reveal the scale of “Israeli” contempt for the United Nations system, its charters, and its reports, and confirm the urgent need for international action to stop the war of genocide and hold the leaders of the occupation accountable for their crimes against innocent children and civilians.
