**The Occupation Continues Its Aggression on Southern Lebanon with Shelling, Explosions, and Targeting of Border Villages**
*2026-07-05*
The “Israeli” occupation continues its aggression against southern Lebanon, exploiting the political cover provided by the so-called “Framework Agreement.” It is carrying out raids, clearing operations, and explosions in a number of border villages, systematically burning homes and demolishing buildings in southern villages, all amidst a backdrop of official Lebanese silence.
In this context, two hostile helicopters conducted machine-gun strafing operations toward the town of Majdal Zoun, while the enemy continued to blow up houses and buildings in the towns of At-Tiri and Beit Yahoun. Additionally, its heavy machine guns targeted the towns of Haddatha and the outskirts of Kunin and At-Tiri, coinciding with artillery shelling that hit the vicinity of the town of Arnoun and Jabal Basil, opposite the towns of Ramia and Beit Lif. A sound bomb was also dropped toward the town of Al-Mansouri, as part of a systematic policy based on burning, demolition, and destruction in the southern villages.
Regarding aerial violations, enemy drone aircraft breached the airspace of the city of Nabatieh and the villages of the Iqlim al-Tuffah region at a low altitude, while its drones continued to fly over the Sidon area at a very low altitude since ten in the morning.
These violations also extended to the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon, where enemy drone activity was recorded. Furthermore, enemy drones breached the airspace of the capital, Beirut, at a low altitude.
On the ground, enemy drones dropped a sound bomb at the outskirts of the towns of Ayta al-Jabal and Haddatha, coinciding with “Israeli” artillery shelling that targeted the outskirts of the southern town of Baraachit, in a continuation of the assaults affecting the border regions of southern Lebanon.
