### 1. Question
What is the order of the recommended ziyārāt (visitation supplications) narrated from the Imams of Ahl al‑Bayt (peace be upon them) concerning Imam al‑Husayn (peace be upon him) in terms of virtue and rank before Allah—such as the Shaʿbāniyyah, ʿArafah, Arbaʿīn, ʿĀshūrāʾ, Eid, and the Nights of Qadr?
Which ziyārah is superior in rank and degree according to your esteemed view?
Which comes second, third, and fourth?

### Answer
1. There is no doubt that each ziyārah prescribed for a particular occasion has a special quality related to that occasion.
2. In general, every ziyārah possesses its own unique characteristics and distinct spiritual insights.
3. Combining the ziyārāt is more complete than limiting oneself to some and neglecting others.
4. Reflecting deeply on the meanings of the ziyārah and engaging with it intellectually and emotionally leads to greater spiritual benefit and effects.

### 2. Question
According to your respected opinion, what is the ranking of the ziyārāt in virtue?
Or are they equal in merit, each with its own distinction?

### Answer
The answer has already been given: each ziyārah has its own particular merit, especially in its specific time.

Yes, Ziyārat ʿĀshūrāʾ has particular excellence and unique effects—especially given the possibility that it is a sacred (divinely inspired) narration. Ziyārat al‑Nāḥiyah carries a profound tone of grief. Ziyārat Wārith is comprehensive yet concise in meaning. The ziyārah mentioned first in *Mafātīḥ al‑Jinān* under the general ziyārāt of Sayyid al‑Shuhadāʾ corresponds to Ziyārat ʿĀshūrāʾ and also contains central themes from al‑Ziyārah al‑Jāmiʿah al‑Kabīrah.

### 3. Question
Which is better: Ziyārat ʿĀshūrāʾ or the Night Prayer (Ṣalāt al‑Layl)?

### Answer
The best course is to combine both and not neglect either.

If one compares them in terms of reward (not in case of practical conflict), actions connected to wilayah (divinely appointed authority and loyalty) are greater than supererogatory prayer—though the Night Prayer has its immense nobility.

### 4. Question
Regarding my previous question about the curse (laʿn) and greeting (salām) in Ziyārat ʿĀshūrāʾ:

> “O Allah, curse the first oppressor who wronged the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad… O Allah, curse the group that fought al‑Husayn… O Allah, curse them all.”

Should we recite the entire phrase once, then repeat “O Allah, curse them all” 99 times? Or may we repeat each full phrase 100 times without repeating the opening part? Similarly for the salām?

### Answer
One should recite the full formula of the curse once, then repeat “O Allah, curse them all” ninety‑nine times.

Likewise for the greeting: recite the complete formula once, then repeat “Peace be upon al‑Husayn…” ninety‑nine times.

It is not sufficient to recite it only once without completing the count.

### 5. Question
(Regarding narrations stating that repeating the shortened phrase 99 times suffices in place of 100 full repetitions.)
Is the intent to repeat the full curse 100 times, or to recite it once fully and then repeat “O Allah, curse them all” 99 times—and similarly for the salām?

### Answer
The intent is that instead of repeating the full formula 100 times, one recites it once in full and then repeats only the final portion 99 times. The same applies to the salām.
