The struggle of the healthcare staff is reminiscent of the jihad of the warriors on the ‎battlefields

Hujjat al-Islam Shahrokhi said, “The struggle of nurses against the Coronavirus is reminiscent ‎of the jihad of warriors in the Imposed War and a golden leaf on the history of the Islamic ‎Revolution.”‎
RNA – Speaking in a meeting in Khorramabad on July 26th with the healthcare staff of Lorestan province on ‎the occasion of the 41st anniversary of the first Friday prayers held in Iran after the Islamic ‎Revolution, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ahmad-Reza Shahrokhi said, “The Friday prayer podium is ‎an opportunity to raise the problems of the people to the authorities.”‎

The representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Lorestan appreciated ‎the efforts of the healthcare staff and added, “The struggle of the healthcare staff is ‎reminiscent of the jihad of the warriors in the eight-year-long Imposed War [Iran-Iraq War].”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Shahrokhi pointed out that during the war, the enemy was clear and the ‎stronghold was a safe place and added, “There is no safe haven in the war against the ‎Coronavirus.”‎

He emphasized that people should be grateful for the efforts of the healthcare staff and ‎said, “The best gratitude is the observance of health protocols and the severance of the ‎chain of transmission of the virus.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Shahrokhi said, “The services of health defenders in caring for Coronavirus ‎patients are commendable and today nurses, as health defenders in the trenches against the ‎Coronavirus, don’t spare any effort.”‎
