Hijab is a significant topic far behind religious considerations/Iran is an Islamic country and not secular

Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi responded to some unwise statements made by official in the cyber space and said that Iran is a Muslim country and not secular.
RNA – Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, visited by Qom police chief, said, “Today, Hijab is not a solely religious consideration, and it has turned into a political issue. The enemies believe that if the can break the issue of Hijab, the can knock the system.”

Criticizing the awkward statements made by some officials, “We are a Muslim country and not a secular one. Due to the negligence of what is being done in the virtual space, the number of crime is highly going up. We hope the related officials consider this issue and find a proper remedy to this corruptive malady.”

He finally said, “The cyber space is the current problem of the state. A wisely deep resolution ought to be found. Otherwise, the problems gets out of control.”
