Rising prices, uncontrolled inflation has nothing to do with sanctions and the dollar

RNA – Speaking during his jurisprudence class at Qom’s Grand Mosque, Grand Ayatollah ‎Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani pointing to the difficult living conditions facing the Iranian people ‎and emphasized on the necessity for urgent actions to be taken to resolve the problems and ‎said, “How long must people wait for the authorities to solve the economic problems?”‎

The revered source of emulation expressed concern over the economic and living conditions ‎of the people and considered the high prices of goods and uncontrolled inflation as unrelated ‎to the sanctions and the dollar and added, “Many goods are domestically produced and if the ‎authorities provided the necessary supervision, most of the problems will be solved.”‎

He called for the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei[, the ‎sources of emulation, the scholars and the Islamic Seminaries as the solution to the ‎country’s “sick” economy and said, “Unfortunately, there is a lack of supervision and the ‎cost of goods are increasing day by day, while the duty of the authorities is to make serious ‎efforts toward controlling prices and the remove the economic pressures on people. These ‎problems are the responsibility of some incompetent individuals.”‎

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani praised the presence of the Iranian ‎people during the mourning ceremonies during the first ten days of Muharram and said, “The ‎presence of the people during the first ten days of Muharram demonstrated that the ‎propaganda of the enemies was ineffective and the culture of sacrifice, martyrdom, dignity ‎and opposition to oppression will continue as always.”‎

His Eminence stated that the presence of people in the mourning ceremonies made the ‎propaganda of the evil enemies ineffective and said, “Love for Imam al-Husayn is everlasting ‎and the people demonstrated that they weren’t affected by the propaganda of the enemies ‎and emphasized on the fact that the culture of opposition to oppression is alive.”‎

He also condemned the September 22nd terrorist attack in Ahvaz and stated, “This blind ‎crime represented the support of the enemies and caused people to better understand the ‎ugly faces of the enemies of the Islamic Revolution. By creating insecurity, the enemies are ‎attempting to create fear and division in society, but due to divine grace, this incident led to ‎more unity and solidarity among the people.”‎
