At least 50 Palestinians were injured in clashes that broke out after hundreds of settlers stormed the settlement of Joseph’s Tomb, east of Nablus.
Palestine Today cited security and medical sources as saying hundreds of Zionist settlers stormed the Tomb at 2:00 a.m. under tight protection of several groups of Israeli soldiers and special police forces. Violent confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and enemy forces that fired live bullets, rubber-coated metal and tear gas canisters, resulting in the injury of about fifty citizens.
Security sources pointed out that large forces of the Zionist army stormed the Balata refugee camp. Violent confrontations broke out with the youths on the schools and Al-Quds streets. Five Palestinians were arrested after their homes were raided, while Faraj Mustafa Abu Lail was arrested after being shot dead on his right foot.
