Shia Muslims expressed their mass strength and political power by holding a successful Labbaik Ya Rasoolullah (PBUH) Conference in Khairpur on Sunday. Shia and Sunni leaders called it a referendum against the Taliban terrorists.
Shiite News Correspondent reported here that Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, head of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, head of Sunni Ittehad Council, Senator Faisal Raza Abedi of Voice of Martyrs of Pakistan, Allama Amin Shaheedi and other eminent figures spoke at the Conference.
Mumtaz Stadium was decorated with buntings of Labbaik Ya Rasoolullah (PBUH) and MWM’s flags and Khairpur was reverberating with the slogans of Labbaik Ya Rasoolullah (PBUH).
Tens of thousands of Shia Muslims from Khairpur and other districts of Sindh thronged the ground. They were feeling them victorious because the government had to accept their demand to hold the anti-terrorism Conference at Mumtaz Stadium and arrest of and torture on MWM officials by the rangers and police.
“Three types of Yazid have occupied Pakistan and nation has to defeat political Yazidi, economic Yazid and religious Yazid to drive motherland out of prevailing crisis,” said Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari speaking to at the Conference after a youth injured in Yazidi terrorist attack presented him ajrak at the stage.
He warned that if the federal and Sindh governments would continue to side with the terrorists, Shiites would send them back home like Raeesani government of Baluchistan last year.
“Sindh Government tried its best to stop pro-peace and pro-Pakistan Shia Muslims and their Sunni allies by raids and arrests but our steadfastness made them to bow to legitimate stance,” he said.
Sahibzada Hamid Raza of Sunni Ittehad Council rejected the government’s pro-terrorists policy and demanded that military action (surgical strikes) be allowed to liquidate the anti-Pakistan terrorists of the TTP. He maintained that the Conference was another manifestation of unity of Sunni and Shia Muslims against the Yazidi takfiri terrorists. He said that whoever supports Taliban by any means including talks are equally responsible for terrorist attacks on Pakistanis.
“We are Karbalai, followers of Karbala. We shall not let notorious Yazidi Taliban terrorists to impose their ideology of fanaticism and hate in the name of Shariah. Taliban fanatics are doomed to fail,” he vowed.
Senator Faisal Raza Abedi said that he had no enmity with any party or group but he requested all the political parties to expel takfiri elements taken shelter in the parties. He said he was ready to pardon the political opponents but he asked them to clarify whose line they were toeing against him.
“Those who torn apart the Constitution are embraced by the PMLN government and those who sacrificed everything for the sake of motherland Pakistan are denied their freedom to express, How much suffocation ruler has brought to anti-terrorists patriot people of Pakistan,” Allama Amin Shaheedi said.
