Grand Jurist, Ayatollah Jawadi Amoli, speaking to journalist regarding the revolution day demonstrations in Qum, stated the reality of answering the call to come out in support of the system: “This presence is answering the call of the intellect, of one’s true nature, of independence and political awareness.”
The highly respected scholar went onto explain the sources of motivation for the Iranian people: “The joy and passion of the Iranian nation after 35 years [since the revolution] is as sign of their revolutionary spirit. [This is] indebted to Imam Khomeini, the martyrs and the guidance and planning of the Supreme Leader.”
Ayatollah Jawadi congratulated the people on fulfilling their duty and advised the officials to carry out their responsibility towards the people: “The people coming out in the millions have accomplished their obligation and now it is the responsibility of the officials, whilst maintaining unity, to come and help the people and solve their problems.”
Ayatollah Jawadi concluded by responding to the desires of the enemies:
“They must know that the honourable Iranian nation will never leave the revolution or the system of Wilayat al-Faqih.”
