Ayatollah Subhani, at the end of his class on the principles of Jurisprudence in the shrine of Lady Ma’sooma in Qum, spoke about the importance of expressing ones opposition in certain situations and the dangers of remaining quite.
Highlighting a narration from the holy Prophet (s), the highly respected scholar stated: “Whoever remains indifferent towards the act of a people, becomes a part of those people.
Recalling some of the mistakes made recently by certain publication, the Ayatollah said: “Today, there are magazines and newspapers writing things which surprise us. They insult Imam Ali (a) in their publication and they question the enlightened laws of the Quran.”
Ayatollah Subhani concluded by stressing the importance of tackling such publications, he emphasised: “We should not be accepting, even in the slightest, of the actions and activities of these publications as the heart can only either be a place for Satan, or a place for the truth and righteousness.”
