NBA Finals: Miami Heat top LA Lakers in Game 5
Over the NBA, in game 5 of the NBA Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers have been made to wait to lift the trophy after suffering a 111-108 defeat against Miami Heat.
The Heat managed to take the first quarter by a single point and went on to extend their lead to 4 in the second, leading 60-56 at the intermission. The Heat were also slightly better in the third too as they beat their opponents 28-26 to go 6 points up.
However, the Lakers eventually found their rhythm in the final and managed to win the quarter 26-23, but it was not enough and the Heat changed the result to 3-2 in the final series. LeBron James and Anthony Davis collected more than half of the points for the Lakers as they pocketed 40 and 28 respectively.
On the other side Jimmy Butler was the best player for the Heat as he bagged 35 points. Game 6 will be held on Sunday.
