Hizbullah Secretary General, His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah appeared before the thousands of people who came to take part in al-Quds day ceremony in Sayyed al-Shuhada complex.
The ceremony, scheduled to take place at 5:00 p.m. on the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan, held the surprise presence of Sayyed Nasrallah, who thanked the people for participating in the event, despite the current circumstances and dangers.
Sayyed Nasrallah expressed condolences to the families of the Algerian plane victims, saluted the souls of the Gaza war victims and martyrs, to the July 2006 martyrs, the resistance fighters, the wounded, and the resilient people who continue to preserve the resistance, which is the only hope to the people.
“In light of the latest events, especially in the Gaza Strip and the coming of al-Quds International Day, I saw that we must meet here, in this place which has become very familiar with the funerals of our martyrs, the reception of our liberated detainees and our celebrations of triumph and victory.”
Sayyed Nasrallah reminded that Al-Quds Day is a motivation and a reminder of the central cause, so that al-Quds and Palestine remain in our hearts, minds, culture, work and in our priorities.
He noted “Imam [Ruhollah] Khomeini designated the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan as al-Quds International day to assure the holiness and importance of this Islamic cause.”
Sayyed Nasrallah said that following the Zionist occupation of Palestine, “the Zionists have worked for long years and are still working on eliminating the Palestinian cause, considering that the Palestinian people no longer exist and that al-Quds has become meaningless to Muslims and Christians and that al-Quds has become the eternal capital of so-called Jewish state.”
“The Zionists did not consider at all returning even one meter of the Palestinian land to its owners, and therefore we consider that consensus over al-Quds is absolute,” He went on to say.
Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that today, “Gaza is being slaughtered, other priorities prevail in other Arab countries such as the issues of gas and of wages. These are rightful demands but “Israel” wanted these to become the crucial cause so that the Palestinian cause would be forgotten.”
He assured that “the Palestinian people, inside Palestine, in exodus, and in camps, and despite all the harsh living conditions still adhere to their land, cause, sanctities, rights and refuse to give up and be oppressed.”
He further explained “Isolating Palestinians on the psychological, political, and emotional levels from the region’s people is the most dangerous thing that has been committed during the past years. People in the region have reached a state in which Palestine no longer means anything to them. This is being witnessed in Arab media. And even in Lebanon, there is an effort exerted to choose a Palestinian suicide bomber, to differentiate between Palestinians and other nationalities.”
His Eminence stressed “Hence, despite all the conspiracies, the Palestinian cause continues to dominate over the Arab countries and the world.”
On another note, Sayyed Nasrallah iterated that there is a black ops. room, that has been in action since decades, that works on breaking any relations or links between the Lebanese, Syrians, Iraqis, Egyptians, and Palestinians.
Also, he mentioned that adhering to the Palestinian cause is one of the reasons for Syria’s resilience and for the victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran.
“What we are experiencing today as a nation and as an Ummah is the most dangerous situation ever since the occupation of Palestine and it is because of the systematic destruction of countries, armies, people and societies.”
Sayyed Nasrallah vehemently condemned what the Muslims and Christians are facing alike in Iraq, also the destruction of religious sanctities, mosques, churches and the Aqsa mosque.
“Iraq has entered a dark tunnel under the name of Islam and Islamic Caliphate and Christians are experiencing forced migration, Sunnis are clashing with ISIL and do not have an option other that being slaughtered or joining IS, and Shiites are only faced with killings. As Muslims today, it is among our duties to condemn what Christians and Muslims are experiencing in Iraq.”
