The enemies seek the colonization of Islamic countries

RNA – In a meeting with academic elites and chancellors of Syrian universities who were invited to Iran by Qom’s University of Religions and Denominations, Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi stressed, “Today, Islamic society needs unity and solidarity more than before.”

The revered source of emulation added, “Today, unity and solidarity are the most important and essential requirements of the Islamic system. There are several verses of the Holy Quran and narrations in this regard which emphasize that the path of salvation and the victory of Islam is in unity and solidarity.”

Expressing his satisfaction with his meeting with the brotherly and friendly academic elite of Syria, Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi said, “Today, the enemies of Islam have penetrated and seek to colonize Islamic countries through the neglect which exists due the lack of unity in some of these countries. Today, the successes and victories that we see in Syria are the result of this alliance, unity and solidarity.”

His Eminence stressed, “Another item that has been recommended and emphasized in the Holy Quran is the issue of jihad and sincerity in a variety of dimensions. The economic, social, political and military jihad is based on the recommendations of the Holy Quran, which, if committed with sincerity and action, will bring about victory.”

Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi noted that it is clear from the verses of the Quran that there is no doubt that victory will be marked in the shadow of the unity and solidarity of the Muslims and without this, foreign governments will dominate Muslims.
