The enemies seek to harm the Islamic Revolution through division and dissension

The head of the Dar al-Thaqalayn Wali al-Asr Institute ‎described the unity of the ‎seminary and the university systems as one of the factors behind the victory of the ‎Islamic Revolution and said, “Under the Pahlavi regime, the seminary was associated ‎with the Islamic Revolution but it was not discussed at the university. When the unity ‎of the seminary and the university systems was formed in this regard and all political ‎groups, clergymen and university students worked to establish Islamic rule, this ‎revolution succeeded.”‎

He stated that the enemies are seeking to destroy the Islamic Revolution through ‎various conspiracies, saying, “The enemies have come to a conclusion that a military ‎attack can’t inflict damage on the Islamic system and for this reason, they consider the ‎only way to inflict harm the Islamic Revolution is to create divisions and dissension ‎among the Islamic ummah.” ‎

Ayatollah Faqihi emphasized that Israel, the United States, Saudi Arabia and some ‎Persian Gulf states have come together to create divisions between the faithful and the ‎revolutionary people of Iran and if they succeed in spreading sedition and discord in the ‎country, they will achieve their own evil goals.‎

His Eminence pointed to the necessity of expanding national unity and solidarity in ‎Iranian society and said, “The spirit of unity and solidarity among the officials and the ‎people must be strengthened and the influence of hypocrites and ill-wishers must be ‎prevented. Such an Islamic Revolution will be protected from enemies. Otherwise, with ‎divisions among the people and the polarization of society, the Islamic Revolution will ‎suffer from various incidents and seditions.”‎

Referring to the counsel of the Supreme Leader in regard to the recent riots, he said, ‎‎“During the recent sedition, the enemies planned a lot to suppress the Islamic system ‎and now the weapons they have brought into the country have been discovered.” ‎

Ayatollah Faqihi added, “In the recent events, the Supreme Leader provided the ‎essence from his personality to maintain the security and peace of the country and he ‎has supported the government in the issue of gasoline, contrary to some views. With ‎the correct counsel of the Supreme Leader, the enemies’ plan was overcome and they ‎failed in their sedition.”‎
