Wilayat al-Faqih is the continuation of the path of the Ahl al-Bayt

RNA – Speaking with a group of people at the Hojjati Mosque in the city of Takestan in Iran’s Qazvin province, Hujjat al-Islam Ali Eslami said, “The victory of the Islamic Revolution has not come at a cheap price for us and during the eight years of the Imposed War [the Iran-Iraq War], 35 countries assisted [former Iraqi dictator] Saddam Husayn and today, our Islamic awakening has occurred in different countries.”

The representative of the people of Qazvin in the Assembly of Experts said, “Forty years after the Islamic Revolution, the people on the axis of wilayah [guardianship] have continued to stand up passionately and with excitement for the ideals of this unique achievement of the century and now other nations are taking this revolution as a model. The threats by the foreign and arrogant powers which have been launched against the Islamic Republic of Iran are due to their weakness and despair.”

Hujjat al-Islam Eslami stated, “Our Islamic Revolution is a global revolution and the aim of Imam Khomeyni was to wake up the oppressed people of the world and to defeat the arrogant powers of the world.”

He added, “One of the components of the Shi’ah belief is the belief in wilayah and wilayah is considered one of the main pillars of the religion of Islam and is superior to principles such as prayer, fasting, zakat and pilgrimage.”

He stated, “In our present-day society, Wilayah al-Faqih [Guardianship of the Jurisprudent] is considered as the main pillar and it is a continuation of the path of the Ahl al-Bayt and it is obligatory for all of us to follow the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution until a government, under the shadow of Islam and the Holy Quran, is realised by a representative of Imam al-Mahdi by his right.”

The dean of the Islamic Seminary of Takestan noted, “Wilayah al-Faqih is one of the main pillars of the Islamic system and the cause of the political, social and cultural successes of Iran in the global arena.”
